Behrend Athletics Helps Lion's Pantry

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend Athletic Department will be participating in "Operation Lion Pantry". The Lion's Pantry provides free supplemental nutrition and hygiene products to Behrend students who are in need. The program is completely free and committed to protecting the confidentiality of all participants. The athletic department will be collecting donations on Monday, August 24th in the Junker Center between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to help fill and support the pantry.

In addition to inventory donations, the Lions pantry also accepts:

Monetary Donations:

Monetary Donations give our Lion's Pantry the freedom to purchase the items our pantry needs. Donations are easy to complete, and the options allow you to choose the best method for you.

Check:

Tax-deductible financial contributions may be sent to Penn State Behrend Lion's Pantry, c/o Amy Hopson, Development & Alumni Relations, Logan House, 4215 Station Road, Erie PA 16563-0107.  Checks should be written out to "Pennsylvania State University" and include "Lion's Pantry" in the memo line.

Online Gift:

Anyone can securely give using a credit card online by visiting the Raise Penn State website: raise.psu.edu/behrendspantry.

  • Individually packaged healthy snacks

  • Dental Floss

  • Soap Bars
  • Tissue Boxes
