ERIE, Pa. – The Allegheny Mountian Collegiate Conference (AMCC) released its weekly Athletes of the Week, naming Kenny Fukon (Cranberry Twp., PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) and Julia Sank (North East, PA/ North East) award winners in their respective sports.

Julia Sank spent last weekend at the Oberlin Invitational from Thursday to Saturday for the women's diving team. She racked up a total score of 240.10 on the one-meter board to come in fourth place. That score places her on the program's Top 10 list.

Kenny Fukon's offensive performance this past week helped lead the Lions to a 2-0 stretch with wins over Allegheny and Bethany for men's basketball. Averaging 24.0 points over those two games, Fukon finished the week shooting 51.4 from the field and a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line. He tallied his first double-double of the year in the win against the Bison, finishing with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Fukon also tied his career high against the Gators earlier in the week with 26 points while shooting 71.4 from the floor. He wrapped up the week with seven assists, two steals, and a block.
