ERIE, Pa. – Senior goalkeeper Sam York (Akron, PA/Revere), and sophomores Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) and Emma Webster (Bradford, PA/Bradford) were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week.

York was named the men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week, while Compton and Webster were selected the men's and women's Swimmers of the Week, respectively.

York tallied two wins on the week, including one shutout, to keep the Lions undefeated in AMCC action. He shared a shutout in the win over Hilbert, while making two saves in two games. York has led a defense that has not given up a goal in 671 minutes and 17 seconds. He ranks ninth in DIII statistics in goals-against average (.421).

In the first meet of the season, Compton tallied four first-place finishes including three individual and one relay. He won the 200 butterfly (1:58.40), the 100 butterfly (53.41) and the 200 IM (2:02.18) while swimming a leg on the winning 200 medley relay.

Webster led the women's swimming and diving team on Saturday against Westminster. She tallied two of the three first-place finishes, winning the 100 backstroke (1:06.14) and the 200 backstroke (2:20.39).
