Paulina Gruber enters her fifth year as the certified head athletic trainer at Penn State Behrend after spending the 2016-17 season as an assistant athletic trainer for the Lions.
A native of Buffalo, New York, Gruber graduated from St. Bonaventure with a bachelors of science in sports studies with a concentration in human movement and went on to earn her masters of science in athletic training from Daemen College in May 2016.
As a graduate student at Daemen, she got clinical experience at D’Youville, Buffalo University and The Nichols School. Gruber is CPR and BOC certified as well as a certified test administrator for the Y-Balance Test. She is a member of NATA, EATA, New York State and Daemen Athletic Trainers Association and has licensures from the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine.
