ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team hits the road for a two-day trip this weekend to Lincoln Lanes in Latrobe, PA. The Lions will take part in a tri-match with St. Vincent and Daemen this Saturday and wrap up Sunday with a tournament hosted by the Bearcats.

* The Lions clinched a berth for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournament last weekend following the conclusion of the AMCC Round Robin
* Behrend finished with a 9-7 conference record and will enter the conference tournament as the #4 seed
* Natalie Denny (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) leads the Lions and is 11th in the AMCC in traditional average with a 160.0
* Bella Pilyih (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) is right behind Denny in 12th place with a 157.5 average
* Pilyih led the team last weekend with a 165.4 average over eight games with a single-game high of 193
* Reegan Malis (Butler, PA/Butler) (155.1), Ashley Debich (Leechburg, PA/Kiski Area) (153.2) and Abby Lanker (Sunbury, OH/Worthington Christian) (147.8) round out the top-15 in traditional play
* Malis also cracked the top-15 in the conference in Baker average, holding a mark of 16.52
Opponent News & Notes:
* St. Vincent clinched the #1 seed in the AMCC, going unbeaten during both round robins (8-0)
* The Bearcats had the top-2 bowlers in terms of average last weekend with Monique Koehller posting a 203.3 and Abby Kyle concluding with a 195.0
* Koehler was also named AMCC Bowler of the Week for her efforts, including a single-game high of 236
* Division II opponent, Daemen enters the weekend with an overall record of 20-22, having most recently defeated Pitt-Bradford 2-1 in a trio of matches on December 4
* This is the first time the Wildcats have competed in 2022
