LATROBE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team finished in third place at the Brother Pat Lacey Memorial Tournament on Sunday, hosted by St. Vincent. The Lions came away with three wins with all five matches being played in traditional format.

Key Moments:

* Behrend netted a high of 810 in their first win over the Redhawks
* Abigail Lanker (Sunbury, OH/Worthington Christian) led the Lions in the win over La Roche, rolling a 173
* Ashley Debich (Leechburg, PA/Kiski Area) and Bella Pilyih (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) both had a 175 in the second victory over La Roche, leading Behrend to a 783-711 win
* Pilyih ended the afternoon carrying the highest average on the team with a mark of 162.8
* Reegan Malis (Butler, PA/Butler) tallied the single-game high on the day with a 183 against St. Vincent
* Malis would also have the second highest pinfall in a single match, knocking down 179 pins in the win over Pitt-Bradford
* Despite the action not counting towards conference play, The Lions tallied three wins over Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) opponents
