Malis Named to AMCC All-Conference Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's bowling All-Conference teams were announced by the AMCC office on Tuesday, naming Reegan Malis (Butler, PA/Butler) a Third-Team selection.

As a freshman, Malis served as the anchor for the Lions for most of the season, registering an overall average of 16.83, good enough for 22nd in the AMCC. Malis shined in Baker format, concluding her rookie season with the 12th best Baker average in the AMCC at 17.69.

In conference play, Malis finished with a 159.6 traditional average, 32nd in the conference. On February 27, she was named to the Medaille Invite All-Tournament team, helping the Lions defeat the Mavericks in traditional play by rolling a career-high 266.

This is the first All-Conference selection of Malis' young career and was one of just three freshmen to be named as one of the top bowlers in the AMCC. Malis was a key piece in Behrend achieving its best finish in program history, collecting their first AMCC Tournament victory and clinching the No. 4 seed. Malis also opens her career as the second All-Conference selection in program history.
