ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend baseball team will be hosting their annual alumni weekend from September 20-22, 2019. The weekend opens on Friday with a fall team practice at 4 p.m. followed by a get-together beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Calamari's.
The Golf Tournament will be held at Downing Golf Course in Harborcreek, Pa., on Saturday. The $90 registration fee covers 18 holes with a cart, hot dog and soda at the turn, a Behrend baseball giveaway and post-event dinner at the East Erie Moose Lodge. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shot gun start at 10 a.m. Saturday evening, Behrend baseball alum David Koerbel will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in a ceremony that begins at 6 p.m. on campus in the Reed Union Building.
Sunday morning, alumni batting practice starts at 10 a.m. followed by lunch for all alumni. The fall team will then play a pair of blue vs. white world series games at 12 p.m.
