* The Behrend Lions improved to 5-1 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) with a pair of wins over Penn State Altoona on Saturday
* Senior Josh Wagner (South Park, PA/South Park) registered his 100^th career hit in game one vs. the Altoona Lions
* Senior outfielder Tanner Cicchini (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) went 4-for-5 with a double, triple and three runs scored on Saturday
* Sophomore Derrick Shields (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) was named AMCC Pitcher of the Week
* Shields threw a three-hit complete game shutout with eight strikeouts last week against Pitt-Bradford. He is ranked second in the AMCC in total strikeouts with 26
