GREENVILLE, Pa. – For the second straight game, the Penn State Behrend baseball team scored 15 runs, this time doing it with 20 hits at Thiel to defeat the Tomcats 15-4 and extend their winning streak to 10 straight on Thursday.

* Senior Daniel Boehme (Peters Township, PA/Seton LaSalle) tripled home two runners in the top of the first
* In the bottom of the second, Thiel knotted the score at two
* The Lions retook the lead with a sacrifice fly and RBI double from Paul Connolly (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) and Tyler Burick (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) in the top of the third
* An RBI groundout and passed ball in the bottom half of the inning tied the score at four a side
* Back-to-back runs batted in by Dylan Barnes (Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills) and Chase Palmer (Brookville, PA/Brookville) in the seventh gave Behrend a 6-4 advantage
* The Lions broke the game open with four runs on four hits in the eighth inning
* The big hit in the inning was a two-run triple off the bat of Palmer

* Out of the bullpen, Jack Baumgartel (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny), Ethan Tinker (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth), and Sawyer Prince (Shinglehouse, PA/Port Allegany) delivered scoreless relief appearances on Thursday
* Palmer and Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) recorded a game-high four hits, while Burick and Barnes each drove in a game-high three RBIs
* For the Tomcats, Calvin Cackowski and Ethan Bintrim registered two hits apiece
