ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend men's basketball senior Zane Hackett was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 24.

Hackett led the Lions to their 11th consecutive win last week. He averaged 16.0 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. Hackett scored a game-high 17 points and brought down 12 rebounds in their 11-point win over Hilbert to take sole possession of first place in the conference.

He then broke the 1,000 career point mark in Behrend's next win over D'Youville. Hackett leads the AMCC in in rebounds per game (11.4), field goal percentage (60.4%) and is tied for third in the nation with 12 double-doubles.
