ERIE, Pa. - Senior forward Tyler Gates (Titusville, PA/Titusville) drained a career-high 21 points and six blocks to lead Penn State Behrend past Medaille 81-74 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Wednesday night.

* Gates shot 80 percent from the floor (8-for-10) and went 5-for-8 from the charity stripe for his best outing in a Behrend uniform

* It marked the third game this season the score was tied at halftime (35-all)
