USC Division III Preseason Poll
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team will begin their 2019 season ranked 16th in the United Soccer Coaches Poll the organization announced late Tuesday afternoon. The Lions finished 2018 ranked 16th following an 16-4-2 season that included wins in both the AMCC and NCAA Tournaments.
The Behrend Lions opens fall camp with report day on Sunday, August 18. The preseason slate includes a date against Buffalo State at home on August 21 and then a road scrimmage at Case Western on August 24.
Behrend opens competition with the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Soccer Tournament at the Behrend Fields on Friday, August 31 against Alfred State. The entire 2019 schedule can be seen here.
The Lions are coming off the best season in program history with their seventh overall trip to the NCAA Championships and advancing to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time.
