ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team will host Pitt-Greensburg for the second round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Tournament on Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Lions (13-2-5) and the Bobcats (9-6-4) are meeting for the third time this season. Behrend defeated Pitt-Greensburg 4-0 during the regular season and in the AMCC Semifinals last Wednesday.
The Behrend Lions are making their 10th overall appearance in the ECAC Tournament. The Lions won the ECAC Title back in 2009. Behrend advanced to the ECAC Semifinals last year, falling to Rugters-Newark, 4-2.
There are 11 teams participating in the ECAC Tournament, competing in four pods. Alvernia, Goucher, Neumann are in pod one. Behrend and Pitt-Greensburg in pod 2, while Rutgers-Newark, FDU-Florham and Hunter make up pod three. Pod four consists of Ramapo, New Jersey City and St. Elizabeth.
The winner of pod one and two will compete in one semifinal and pod three and four in the second semifinal.
