ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's swimming senior Mark Patterson (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Swimmer of the Week, announced on Monday.

Patterson won a total of six events this weekend. He tallied three against Malone and three vs. St. Vincent to help the Lions extend their win streak to six straight. Patterson won two relay and the 100 backstroke vs. Malone. He then captured the 100 backstroke (54.35) and 200 backstroke (1:57.73) vs. the Bearcats.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday, February 13 at home for the AMCC Championships, beginning at 6 p.m.
