ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's swimmer Mark Patterson (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) has been named to the 2019 College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Honorable Mention Team.

Patterson earns his first Scholar All-America honor for achieving a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for the academic school year and achieving a "B" time standard. Patterson, a three-time AMCC Swimmer of the Year, was an AMCC Champion in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, and 500 freestyle. The senior led the Lions to their 13th consecutive conference title and was a 26 time All-AMCC selection.
