Behrend Men's Tennis Named AMCC Co-Regular Season Champions; Lions Down PItt-Greensburg

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men­­'s tennis team was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Co-Regular Season Champions with a pair of wins of Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday morning.

Match One
Score: Penn State Behrend 7, Pitt-Greensburg 0
Records: Penn State Behrend (8-8, 4-1 AMCC), Pitt-Greensburg (1-10, 0-5 AMCC)

* The Lions shared the Regular-Season Championship with Penn State Altoona
* Behrend clinched the No. 2 seed for the playoffs due to tiebreaker criteria

* Laier and Sinnott tallied a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, followed by Sinnott and Carson Souser (Clay, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) with a 6-0 decision in the second spot
* Flick and Aidan Piazza (Fairview, PA/Fairview) finished out the doubles matches with a 6-4 win for the one point
* Laier, Pikalo, Thomas and Souser all posted a 6-0, 6-0 win in singles action
