ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's outdoor track & field program travels to Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday to compete in a quad meet at Carnegie Mellon.

* The Lions had eight top five finishes at the meet
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) finished second in the men's high jump with a leap of 1.96m
* Smith was named the CSAC Field Athlete of the Week for his effort, along with being ranked 18th in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field rankings
* Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) finished in third in the men's 1500m run (4:06.76)
* Drozynski was named the CSAC Track Athlete of the Week for his third place finish along with an 18th place finish in the men's 800m run
* Kurt Eberhardt (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton), Jonathan Wu (Acton, MA/Acton Boxborough), Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney), and Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) finished in fourth place in the men's 4x100 event, qualifying for the All-Atlantic Championships with a time of 43.26
* Behrend held four of the top five spots in the pole vault, led by Georgetson who finished second with an All Atlantic qualifying height
* Matt Michael (Erie, PA/Iroquois) took home third in the men's shot put with a throw of 13.72m
