ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's and women's track and field teams travel to Alfred State on Friday for the Early Season Invitational.

* The men's team took home two gold medals in Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) in the high jump (2.00m) and Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) in the pole vault (4.36m)
* Each team tallied multiple Top-15 places with the men receiving 20 and the women three
* On the women's side Jessie Johnson (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) finished third in the women's 5000m run (21:06.97) and Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) placed ninth in the javelin throw, throwing for 29.68m
* Both teams were picked to finish first in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) preseason coaches' poll
