  • Men's Water Polo Team Awards Announced

    The Penn State Behrend men’s water polo program announced the team awards for the 2010 season. Chris Dunleavy was named Most Valuable Player, Andrew Opalewski was tabbed Most Improved Player, Nicholas Pabich was voted Rookie of the Year and Nicholas Loukides earned the Sportsmanship and Leadership Award.

    The Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team got revenge on Washington & Jefferson, defeating the President’s 15-9 to finish in fourth place at the Division III Eastern Championships on Sunday afternoon at Connecticut College.

    Andrew Opalewski and Brian Shapter each recorded a hat trick for their first goals of the season, helping the Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team collect their second win of the season. The Lions defeated Salem 10-8, but dropped the first game of the day to Mercyhurst, 14-6.
