SHERMAN, Tx. - The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team competed in the Austin College Invite on Saturday.

Game One:
* Behrend fell to Arizona Ottawa 12-8 in the first game of the Austin College Invite
* Andre Sardaryzadeh (Murrieta, CA/Elsinore) led the Lions with three goals and one steal
* Behrend ended the first period tied 2-2 before the Spirit went on a scoring spree in the second and third quarters
* Arizona Ottawa outscored the Lions 3-1 in the second period and 5-2 in the third
* Lions goalie Matt Olimski (San Diego, CA/Otay Ranch) posted 12 saves and 10 steals against the Spirit

Game Two
* The Lions fell 13-8 in game two of the invite to Austin College
* Sardaryzadeh led the team with two goals and two steals 
* Behrend kept the game close in the first half, behind by just one goal at halftime 
* The Kangaroos outscored the Lions 5-0 in the third quarter, a deficit Behrend was unable to overcome
* Olimski tallied 11 saves and three steals in the loss
