Men's Cross Country Travels to Kentucky for Live In Lou Classic

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team will compete at the 20th Annual Live In Lou Classic held on Saturday at the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

* The "Live in Lou" Classic is the most highly attended college and high school
* The site is also the host for the Nov. 20, 2021 NCAA Division III National Championships
* The men will compete in the 8K race at 9:30 a.m.
* Last time out, Behrend ran to the team title at its own invitational on September 17
* The Lions collected 16 points for first place, led by senior Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca)
* Myers was the individual champion with a time of 27:12.3 for the 8K race
* For his efforts, Myers was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Runner of the Week
* Myers holds the top time in the AMCC (27:12.3)
* Last time Behrend ran at the Live in Lou Classic, the Lions took 29th out of 40 teams on Oct. 5, 2019
