Softball Blanks La Roche in Game One; Rabanal Hits Game-Winning RBI in Game Two

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend softball pitcher Abby Tingley (Union City, PA/Union City) threw a complete-game shutout in a 10-0 win in game one, while Lauren Rabanal (San Diego, CA/Westview) had the game-winning RBI in a 6-5 game-two victory against La Roche in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.
Game One: Penn State Behrend 10, La Roche 0 (5)
Records: Penn State Behrend (8-13, 3-2 AMCC), La Roche (5-18, 2-3 AMCC)
Key Moments:
* Tingley recorded her first shut out of the season, allowing just four hits to earn her fourth win
* The win is the sixth game in which the Lions scored nine or more runs

* Behrend collected the sweep over La Roche, using a walk-off squeeze by Rabanal in the bottom of the eighth inning
* Using the international tiebreaker rule, Sierra Williams (Grove City, PA/Lakeview) was placed on second
* Williams advanced to third on a ground out by Athena Iverson (Pittsburgh, PA/The Ellis School)
* Rabanal, a pinch hitter, laid a bunt down third-base line to score Williams for the win
