Troyan Named ECAC South Defensive Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Troyan (Butler, PA/Butler) has been named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Defensive Player of the Week.

The current Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week earned three shut-out victories for the Lions last week, including two conference wins. She did not allow a goal in 260:25 minutes played between the pipes, while making six saves.

Troyan is ranked second in the conference in shutouts per game (.15) fourth in the conference for goals-against average (1.72), fifth in saves (3.92) and eighth in save percentage (.708).

Behrend returns to action tomorrow against Houghton. Game starts at 4 p.m.
