ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's and women's swimming and diving season begins with a trip to the Grove City Fall Classic on Saturday at the James E. Longnecker Competition Pool beginning at 10 am.

* Behrend begins its 21st swimming and diving season as a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference
* The conference currently has five teams with swimming and diving programs – Alfred State, Penn State Behrend, Penn State Altoona, Pitt-Bradford and SUNY Delhi.
* The Lions will host the AMCC Championships for the third straight year at the Junker Center on February 13-16, 2019
* The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving squad features 26 individuals while the women have 19.
* Current men's team members with school records include: Mark Patterson (100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free) and Brady Mattson (1000 Free, 1650 Free)
* Current women's team members with school records include: Jessica Wyckoff (200 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay), Abigail Witmer (400 Free Relay), Devon van Rensburg (200 Free Relay)
