ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's and women's indoor track & field programs will open the 2018-19 season at the Mt. Union Toy Drive Invitational at the Peterson Fieldhouse on Saturday.

* The Lions have a combined roster of nearly 70 men's and women's athletes heading into the 2018-19 season
* The men return nine All-Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) performers, while the women also return nine All-CSAC performers
* On the women's side, Behrend welcomes back senior Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan), an NCAA qualifier and All-Region selection in the pole vault
* Sophomore Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) returns after being named the CSAC champion in the high jump and second-place finisher at the ECAC Championships last season
