ERIE, Pa. – Three members of the Penn State Behrend men's track and field team, and one women's athlete were named Division III All-Region, announced on Monday.
To be named All-Region, the athlete must be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event or top-3 relay team.
The lone woman to earn the award was senior Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan). She was named All-Region in the pole vault.
On the men's side Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) Kyle Grimm (Beaver, PA/Beaver Area), and Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) were all recognized for All-Region honors. Smith was Mideast All-Region in the men's high jump. Georgetson and Grimm were both named All-Region in the men's pole vault.
Both the men's and women's squad will return to action for the outdoor season.
