ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field program will travel to Ithaca, NY on Saturday for the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell beginning at 11 a.m.

* Behrend will be competing against a total of eight teams at the Kane Invitational, six of them from Division I
* The Lions most recently competed in the Edinboro Invitational on Saturday
* Senior Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) finished second in the women's 800m with a time of 2:20.57, qualifying her for the AARTFC meet
* Shelton has AARTFC qualifying marks in the 800m, mile run, and distance medley relay
* Myeisha Sanders (Erie, PA/East) broke her own school record in the weight throw with a toss of 14.50m, good for a fourth-place finish and an AARTFC qualifying throw
* Emily Mischen (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes) threw for 10.82m in the shot put, finishing in sixth place
