ITHACA, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's track & field team competed in the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Senior Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) ran a 2:22.43 in the 800m claiming third place along with finishing fifth in the mile run (5:16.85)
* Myeisha Sanders (Erie, PA/East) registered tenth place in the weight throw (12.35)
* Emily Mischen (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes) had a new PR in the shot put throwing 11.97 and finished second
* Mischen also qualified for the All-Atlantic meet with the throw
* Gabriella Loeffler (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) finished second in the 400m, qualifying for the All-Atlantic meet (1:00.46)
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) qualified for the All-Atlantic meet with a third place finish in the 3000m (10:35.00)
* Following Carr was Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford Area) in seventh
