ITHACA, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's track & field team competed at the Cornell Invitational on Sunday.

Key Moments: 

* Senior Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) claimed the gold in the 800m, running 2:19.58
* The women's 4x400m team of Julia Fasiczka (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin), Shelton, Suraihyah Sule (Snellville, GA/Shiloh) and Gabriella Loeffler (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) came in first place with a time of 4:12.59
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) won the women's mile run with a time of 5:19.39
* Loeffler tallied a second place finish in the 200m (26.78) and a seventh place finish in the 60m (8.19)
* In the 3000m, Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford Area) finished second (10:51.05)
* Alexa Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) finished sixth in the men's triple jump (9.19m)

The Lions will travel to Rochester, NY on Friday to compete in the Nazareth Invite.
