Three Named CSAC Athletes of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Three Penn State Behrend track and field athletes were named Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Athletes of the Week. Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) was named the Men's Field Athlete of the Week while Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Week. Freshman Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) earned the Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Smith earned Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the Slippery Rock Invitational last week. Smith won the high jump event with a leap of 2.06m. He is now ranked first in the CSAC and sixth in the nation. Smith qualified for the All-Atlantic meet.

Stello competed in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay at the Slippery Rock Invitational. He qualified for the All-Atlantic meet in the 200m run with a time of 22.39 for a second-place finish. Stello is now ranked second in the 100m and 200m in the CSAC.

Felton was named the Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Behrend Invitational on Sunday. Felton had her best throw of the season in the javelin, throwing for 30.52m. She tallied a third-place finish and is ranked first in the CSAC.
