ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country teams will travel to La Roche on Sunday for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Invitational.

* The Lions will be competing for just the second time this season
* Behrend ran in the Mercyhust Invite back on March 13
* Jessie Johnson (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) placed 12^th overall with a time of 23:29.4 while Izzy Spires (Wattsburg, PA/Seneca) finished 15^th (24:11.8) 
* The runners to watch for the women's team are Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin) and Johnson
* Carr is a two-time AMCC individual champion and a two-time NCAA qualifier
* Johnson will look to make an impact for the team, as Behrend's second runner
