Angela (Georg) Gorman (1994-97) was an outstanding four-year letter winning volleyball player for the Behrend Lions.

From the setter position, Gorman guided the blue and white to new heights. She helped the Behrend Lions establish a school record for wins with 27 during her rookie season under legendary Head Coach Jan Wilson. Then as a charter member of the AMCC in 1997, Gorman was selected as the league's Most Valuable Player after leading Behrend to the AMCC regular-season title.

At the conclusion of Gorman's career, she ranked number-one all-time for single-season assists with 1,075 and for career assists with 3,100, while breaking Hall of Famer Pam Allshoue's record for career assists. She also finished ranked first on the all-time charts for games played with 453, second all-time in career digs with 759, and fourth for service aces with 153.  

Gorman, a Windber High School graduate, also played for the Behrend women’s basketball team in the 1997-98 season and helped the team reach a 19-9 mark, while also earning a berth into the ECAC Tournament.
