The 2009 Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team earned its third consecutive and the program’s fourth overall Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship. The Lions led the entire field with an impressive team score of 17. Behrend claimed the top four spots and eight of the 11 top finishes at the championship meet.
Senior Kevin Gorny was named the AMCC Runner of the Year for a third time. Alex Myers took home the AMCC Newcomer of the Year award while head coach Greg Cooper was awarded the AMCC Coach of the Year. Penn State Behrend placed eight runners on the All-Conference Team.
