David Miller was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division First-Team. Miller earned a 3.73 GPA in computer science and was recently named Penn State Behrend's Male Academic Athlete of the Year. He is also a four-year member of the AMCC All-Academic teams and has earned Chi Sigma Alpha National Student-Athlete Honor Society honors for two straight years.

The Penn State Behrend Lions relied all season on senior outfielder David Miller (St. Marys/St.Marys). Miller was a three-year regular in the line-up but broke out with a superb senior campaign knocking in the second most runs in a single season with 57. He also connected for five home runs, hit 11 doubles while batting .355.

As an integral member of the baseball team, the program just completed the winningist four-year period in history. Miller was also a starter on back-to-back AMCC regular season and conference tournament title winners, as his teams appeared in two consecutive NCAA Tournaments.

This past spring Behrend registered a 31-13 record with Miller in left field. He is now ranked sixth all-time for career RBIs, tenth for games played, eleventh for doubles, and  fifteenth for hits.
