The Penn State Behrend baseball program recognized its 2010 team award winners after its championship season. The blue and white honored five players with individual attention.

Senior shortstop Josh Fyffe (Fredonia, PA/Sharpsville) was selected by his teammates and coaching staff as the program MVP. Senior infielder Ryan Liddle (DuBois, PA/DuBois) and sophomore catcher Ryan Geibel (Butler, PA/Butler) were named as the program's Most Improved Players. Ryan Jacobs (Port Vue, PA/South Allegheny) was selected as the team's Rookie of the Year, while senior Dustin Dubensky (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) was labeled as the Leadership and Scholarship Award winner.

This spring Fyffe was named a D3Baseball.Com First-Team All-American, the AMCC Player of the Year, First-Team NCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region, and an ECAC South All-Star. He had a batting average of .478 (fourth best all-time) and his 87 hits and 68 runs scored are a Behrend single season record.  Fyffe recorded 14 doubles, eight triples and knocked out 10 home runs and was second to Dubensky in RBI with 60.

Liddle anchored the team from the middle of the diamond at second base and chipped in a .288 batting average and drove in a career high 40 runs. Liddle added 13 steals in 13 attempts and was named to the AMCC All-Sportsmanship team for the second time.  Geibel was an outstanding defensive player who maximized the efforts of the pitching staff, and had a breakthrough second season. Offensively he batted .375 with 10 doubles and 30 RBI and was named to the AMCC All-Conference squad.

Jacobs, a right handed freshman pitcher and AMCC All-League performer, led the team with 13 starts and pitched 63 innings while striking out 46 hitters. He tied for the team lead with seven wins and threw a complete game victory in the 2010 AMCC title game.

Dubensky hit .386 and set a single season record with 68 RBI.  His 18 doubles put him first on the team and his 23 doubles in 2008 still remains as a single season record for the Behrend Lions.  In addition, he was named to the 2010 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 Baseball Team and was named to the AMCC All-Conference Team for three straight years.
