The Behrend Lions finished the 2010 season ranked twenty-fifth in the nation according to the June 1, 2010 D3baseball.com poll. The blue and white finished their record breaking season with a 31-17 record after capturing the AMCC regular season and conference tournament titles. This was Behrend's third straight conference championship.

Behrend then opened up the NCAA Tournament knocking off the fourth-ranked Wooster Scots, and handled Thomas More (KY). Behrend then fell 9-2 to Heidelberg in the winner's bracket and saw its season conclude with a 2-1 loss to #18 Marietta in 10 innings.
