Behrend Falls To Neumann

FORT PIERCE, Fl.  – Neumann's baseball team remains undefeated on the season with a 13-2 win over Penn State Behrend on the second day of Spring Break in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ryan Zamiskie, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Preseason Player of the Year, picked up the loss on the hill for the Lions (1-2) going five innings.

Vinny Rice hit a sacrifice RBI to give Behrend a 1-0 lead in the second, while Blake Pavlik's RBI in the third made it 2-0. The Knights were able to cut the lead to 2-1 in the fourth and went ahead in the sixth to cruise to the win.

The Lions return to action tomorrow against Northwestern at 11 a.m.
