ERIE, Pa. – Collegiate Baseball Newspaper released its 2022 Preseason Poll this week with Penn State Behrend cracking the top-40.
After a successful 2021 campaign (27-13, 10-4 AMCC) that saw the Behrend baseball team capture its sixth Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship, the Lions will enter the season ranked 34th. Behrend is the only AMCC institution to make the list. Headlining the Top-40 is Salisbury University, the 2021 National Champions.
The Lions open play on February 26 with a doubleheader on the road at Eastern Mennonite, followed by their annual spring trip down south.
