WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team dropped a non-conference matchup to Waynesburg in their return up north on Wednesday, falling 4-2 to the Yellow Jackets.

Noteworthy:

* Jeff Zick (Moon, PA/Our Lady of Sacred Heart) got the start on the bump tossing a solid 5.2 innings, limiting the Yellow Jackets to just two earned runs while striking out seven
* Joe Lang (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) was the first man out of the bullpen and kept Waynesburg out of the hit column over two innings of work
* CJ Weller (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) got Behrend on the board with a sacrifice fly in the third inning scoring Shaun Mikulan (Allision Park, PA/Hampton)
* Zack Bowen (Pittsburgh, PA/Serra Catholic) tied the game at two with an RBI-single, plating Colin Harger (Pittsburgh, PA/ Shaler Area)
* The Lions were held to just five hits through nine innings
* Weller went 1-for-1 with a triple and a walk
