ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team will play their second doubleheader in the span of three days as the Lions take on Mt. Aloysius in Cresson Pa. on Wednesday for Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) play. First pitch for the AMCC Game of the Week is scheduled for 1 p.m.

* The Behrend Lions grabbed their first pair of conference wins in the AMCC opener against Pitt-Bradford on Monday, limiting the Panthers to just three runs over the two victories (4-2, 2-1)
* Isaac Stouffer (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) is 10-for-17 at the plate over the last four games including a streak of seven-consecutive at-bats with a hit and reaching base on eight-straight plate appearances
* Over those four games, six hits have went for extra bases including two homeruns while driving in seven runs
* Jeff Zick (Moon, PA/Our Lady of Sacred Heart) leads the AMCC in earned-run average with a mark of 2.30
* Zick has logged the league-best ERA in four appearances including three starts, working 15.2 innings with an average of 10.34 strikeouts per nine innings
* As a team, the Lions are third in the conference in batting average (.287)
* Behrend's pitching staff has contributed to an AMCC-best ERA of 3.98
* Zack Bowen (Pittsburgh, PA/Serra Catholic) collected his 100th career hit on Monday, becoming the 26th player in program history to do so

* Second Team All-AMCC selections from 2021, Douglas Cannon and Jeremy Iellimo return to the team in 2022

* The Mounties also hold the second-best ERA in the AMCC (5.71), trailing only Behrend
* Mt. Aloysius has four players hitting above .300 with Tyler Quade leading the team with 18 hits
