MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team narrowly dropped a non-conference tilt to Allegheny on Friday, falling 5-4 to push the Lions overall record to 17-10.

Final Score: Allegheny 5, Penn State Behrend 4

Records:  Penn State Behrend 17-10, Allegheny 19-7

Key Moments:

* With Behrend trailing by one in the top of the ninth, Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) led off the inning with a single to right field
* The Gators retired the next three to close out the one-run victory
* Ciocco collected the first hit of the day for Behrend in the second inning and scored via homerun off the bat of Daniel Boehme (Peters Township, PA/Seton LaSalle)
* Allegheny chipped away, plating two in the third and fourth innings to tie it at 2-2
