ERIE, Pa. - Freshman second baseman Dylan Barnes (Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for the week of April 29-May 5.

Barnes went 4-for-6 (.667 average) in two games last week, recording two doubles, a home run, and four RBIs. He hit his third long ball of the season and led the Lions with three runs-batted in against Mount Union in the regular season finale.

The Behrend baseball team will travel to Mount Aloysius to take on No. 6 La Roche in the second game of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Baseball Championship Round on Thursday, May 9. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
