McMaster Places Fifth at Grove City; Men's Golf Takes 11th

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greenburg Central) fired a career-low 76 to help the Penn State Behrend men's golf team finish 11th at the Grove City Fall Invitational held on Thursday at the Grove City Country Club.

* McMaster placed fifth overall with a team-low score of 76
* Tyler Parkhurst (Union City, PA/Union City) was second on the team and tied for 50th overall with an 84
* Competing in his first collegiate invitational, Andrew Hatton (Lawrence Park, PA/Iroquois) shot an 87 for the round
* Hatton finished third on the team and 64th overall
* JR Hufnagel (Evans City, PA/North Catholic), also getting his first taste of collegiate golf, carded an 88 to tie for 69th place
* Matt Muldowney (Pittsburgh, PA/Moon) tied for 78th overall with a score of 92
* The Wolverines were victorious in their home tournament, carding a team-low score of 307, followed by Westminster in second (309) and Point Park in third (312)
