CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished in eighth place with a team score of 640 at the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic held on Sunday.

* The Lions took two strokes off their score from day one
* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) and JR Hufnagel (Evans City, PA/North Catholic) tied for the day with a team-low total of 77
* Hufnagel had an eagle on hole 11 for his lowest score of the season
* Caldwell finished first on the team and tied for 11th overall with a score of 155 for the two-day event
* Hufnagel carded a 158 for both days to tie for 18th while Owen Blum (Warren, PA/Warren Area) moved into third on the team and tied for 28th overall with a 161
* Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greenburg Central) shaved three strokes off day one to finish with a 169 for 50th place
