INDIANA, Pa.  – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team is tied for third place with a score of 330 after day one of the 2023 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships held at Indiana Country Club on Monday afternoon.

* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) in sole possession of seventh place to lead the Lions
* Caldwell finished three over on the first nine holes and five over on the next nine for a 79 total
* With seven holes to go, Caldwell was tied for seventh with three other golfers
* Andrew Hatton (Lawrence Park, PA/Iroquois) and Owen Blum (Warren, PA/Warren Area) are tied for 13th with a first-round score of 83
