Behrend Men's Tennis Home Saturday; Travel to St. Vincent Sunday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team will compete in three matches this weekend. The Lions host Medaille at 3 p.m. and Waynesburg at 6 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Westwood Racquet Club, before heading to Latrobe, Pa., to make up a match with St. Vincent at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions are coming off a 2-1 week
* Behrend is 9-9 overall and 4-0 in AMCC action
* Last time out, the Behrend Lions defeated Penn State Altoona 5-4 and Mt. Aloysius 9-0
* As a team, the Lions are a combined 20-4 in AMCC singles action and 11-1 in doubles play
* Max Lu (Plum, PA/Plum) and Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) are undefeated in AMCC singles with 4-0 records
* Evan Dean (New Castle, PA/Neshannock) and Matthew McCullough (Penfield, PA/DuBois) are on a two-match winning streak in doubles

* The Medaille Mavericks are 3-4 overall and 2-1 in the AMCC
* Last time out, Medaille fell 6-3 to Penn State Altoona
* Waynesburg has a 3-4 overall record and has wins over AMCC opponents Altoona and Pitt-Greensburg
* The Yellowjackets will face Thiel on Saturday before coming to Erie to face the Lions
