Myers Wins One Mile Event as Lions Compete at Nazareth

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team took part in the Alumni Opener on Saturday, hosted by Nazareth College. 

Key Moments:
* The Lions were represented in the top-5 in eight different events
* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca)  took home the one mile run for the second-straight weekend with first-place time of 4:25.17
* Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) finished in third in the event with a time of 4:34.24
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) finished in second place in the 60 meter dash, crossing at 7.29
* The team of Klein, Stehlik, Nick Hartman (Cranberry Twp., PA/Seneca Valley) and Zachary Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) finished fourth in the 4x400 relax with a final time of 3:33.56
* Islam Daghestani (Meadville, PA/Meadville Area) had a final mark of 4.10m in the pole vault and had a finish of third place
