ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team finished in 13th at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships on Saturday, collecting 17 team points. The women's team did not see a team score but competed in three events.
Key Moments:
* The men's distance medley relay team of Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep), Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport), Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Area) and Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) collected All-Atlantic honors with a seventh place finish with a time of 10:36.56
* Klein also grabbed 10th place in the 800m, finishing in 1:56.86
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) finished third in the high jump, concluding with a mark of 2.05m
* Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) finished right behind Smith in fourth at 2.02m
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson Area) earned All-AARTFC accolades with an eighth place finish in the 60m hurdles
* The women's DMR of Emily Ferrans (Bradfordwoods, PA/North Allegheny), Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf), Izzy Spires (Wattsburg, PA/Seneca) and Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) clocked in at 13:33.24 to come in 13th place
* The women's side would see another finish in 13th place in the 4x200 relay with the grouping of Victoria Dieterich (Oakmont, PA/Riverview), Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry), Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) and Laffan
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) ran a 10:51.52 3K, placing 12th
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) crossed ninth in the 60m, sprinting to a final time of 7.08
