ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's and women's track and field teams will head to Slippery Rock, Pa. on Saturday for the Dave Labor Alumni Invitational, hosted by Slippery Rock University.

Women's Track and Field News & Notes:

* The women's team was picked to finish second in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) on Wednesday
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) was tabbed CSAC Track Athlete of the Week on Monday
* Nola placed second in the 3000m last weekend at Carnegie Mellon, clinching silver with a time of 11:09.98
* Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) tied for fourth in the pole vault a weekend ago with a mark of 2.90m

Men's Track and Field News & Notes:

* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) and Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field (AARTFC) Championships in May with 1.91m marks in the high jump last weekend
* Smith took the gold at Carnegie Mellon with Hetrick logging a second-place result
* Smith and Hetrick were both named NCAA All-Americans for their efforts in the NCAA Indoor Championships
* Dan Dabrowski (Harborcreek, NY/Harborcreek) also registered an AARTFC qualifying mark with a toss of 46.91m in discus, placing second
* The Lions were selected to finish atop the CSAC this season
